Accessibility Statement
Loft Haus Design wants everyone to be able to read, navigate and use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, switch devices, voice control, screen magnification, or who prefer reduced motion.
Our target
We design and build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We have not had the site formally audited or certified, so we do not claim conformance. We test it ourselves and fix what we find.
What we do
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators and a skip link on the longer pages.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms have visible labels, required fields are marked in words, and errors are announced.
- Text is sized to be readable, colour is never the only signal, and layouts adapt from phones to wide screens.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the home page shows its sections stacked and skips the sideways scrolling effect.
Known limits
- The home page is a horizontal, scroll-driven experience. It works with keyboard, touch and reduced-motion settings, but some assistive technology may find it less predictable than a standard page. Every section is also reachable from the navigation links.
- Client websites we link to are separate sites with their own accessibility. We cannot control them.
